Spring 2012-2013 

The aim of this course is to encourage students to apprehend their knowledge of interior design principles in the context of large scale environments. Therefore, the course intends to develop a sense of awareness towards intricate relations among the spatial aspects such as allocation, function and circulation in complex buildings. Students are expected to solve complicated interior design problems of facilities such as museums, hotels or office headquarters. Students are introduced to the problems concerning adaptation of existing buildings with new functions to the requirements of modern technology and contemporary use of space and human needs.
